Workday is a cloud-based software system designed to help companies manage their human resources, payroll, and financial data. Businesses can easily manage employee information, track time and attendance, process payroll, and generate reports and analytics.
With our Workday integration, you can easily automate and synchronize your employee records from your Workday system to Workia.
How to connect Workday to Workia?
An initial connection must be established from Workday to begin the integration. The first step is to find the "Settings" drop down menu located in the gear icon on the upper right corner of the Workia app.
On the settings screen, under Connections, select "Manage" to open the Connections screen.
On the Connections screen, look for Workday and select the "Details" button to open the integration details.
Once opened, you may find the "Connect" button on the left side of the details section to open the connection settings for Workday. Click on the button to proceed.
💡 Quick check! An active integration will show a green check mark on the top of the card on the connections screen and an "Enabled" status tag on connection settings indicating that the integration is in use.
Once you have opened the connection settings screen, you will find a list of fields requiring the Workday details needed to connect to the Workia app. An asterisk (*) denotes that it is a mandatory field and must be provided for the integration to work.
Fields required for the connection:
Login name* (Your Workday Login username)
Password* (Your Workday login password)
Workday web services version*
Tenant ID*
WSDL URL*

Workday tenant time zone

After inputting the required details to the connection settings, click on "Connect" to proceed with the integration.
Once connected, you will see the Connection success status appear besides the "Disconnect" button on the lower left corner of the connection settings.
But we're not done yet! We still need to enable the connection for us to sync the employee records from Workday to Workia.
Enabling the Workday connection
In the connection settings screen, select the "Enable" button and a modal will appear with the following options:
Get Employee Data - Enabling this option will retrieve your employee records from Workday.
Update Employee - Enabling this option will sync any changes or updates from your employee records in Workday to Workia.
Select the desired options from the list. After clicking on the the "Enable" button, your connection with Workday will be active and the Enabled status tag will appear on the upper right corner of the connection settings.
Congrats! You have successfully connected your Workday account🎉
How do I test the Workday connection?
Head over to your connection settings screen and look for the "Test Integration" button beside the status tag on your connection settings.
Use the Employee ID Number from a Workday employee to use for input on the Search field. Once you have provided an employee ID number, the employee details will appear below the field if the connection has successfully connected to Workia.

How do I disable and/or remove the Workday integration?
Disabling the Workday connection
To disable the connection, go to the Workday connection settings and click on the "Enabled" status tag on the upper right corner of the connection settings.
A modal will appear, click on the "Disable" button to stop the connection from Workday to Workia.
This will stop any updates or changes that rely on this connection, but do note that your Workday account is still connected to Workia.
Removing your Workday connection
To disconnect and remove your Workday account from Workia, click on the "Disconnect" button on the lower left corner of the connection settings.
Do note that in order to use the integration again, you must re-enter your Workday login details on the connection settings.
