To support data migration with EY, as well as ongoing bulk service creation, Workia includes a batch service initiation feature that allows you to generate services for multiple cases at once.

Preparing your file

Check that the file to be uploaded include:

  • A Workia Identifier for each case - This can be found on the top left of the Summary section of a case.

  • Service type columns indicating which services to create, marked with “Yes” or “No”

You can also use this template to prepare your upload:

Workia Identifier

Immigration

Compensation

Tax

Social Security

ACME-123

Yes

No

Yes

No

💡Note: For best performance, we recommend uploading cases in batches of 100–200 at a time. While larger uploads are supported, very large batches (for example, 1,000 cases) may experience slower validation times.

Uploading the File

Access the batch service initiation for EY migrations feature on the EY Connection Settings Page by clicking on your Profile Icon > Settings > Connections > Scroll down to EY Integration and click Connect.

Click on Start Batch Initiation to begin your upload.

After uploading your spreadsheet, Workia will display a summary of the cases and services that will be created. If any cases contain missing or invalid data, these will be flagged with details and links to the affected cases. All required fields must be completed before services can be generated.

Generating Initiations

Select Generate Initiations to create the specified services.

Unlike other integrations, initiations generated for EY are not automatically sent. Instead, Workia generates the IDs required by EY, which are included in the output report.

Once processing is complete, you can download the results and share the report with EY to support the migration process!
