You can now generate annualized compensation calculations, either from a cost estimate or from a case!

💡Note: You can calculate line items using your AirInc or Mercer data subscription, or Workia provided Mercer data!

If you use Workia out of the box AirInc data for cost estimates, the numbers will not flow through into a compensation calculation. Message us in the help center for more info.

How do I create a compensation calculation?

To get started, open a case and scroll down just below the cost estimate section. Create an compensation calculation by clicking "Add Compensation Calculation" or "+" .

You can also create a compensation calculation directly from a cost estimate. Open a cost estimate and scroll down below the Cost Estimate chart.

You can choose from 3 different calculation types:

Home Based Calculation

The employee's salary is based on their origin country salary and cost of living costs in the destination country.

Host Based Calculation

The employee is paid according to local market rates in the destination country.

Gross To Net Calculation

Calculates the net take-home pay after country taxes (can be used for both to/from locations).

Sharing Compensation Calculations

You can share compensation calculations with stakeholders, similar to cost estimate sharing.

Simply choose which email (if any are connected) you want to send it from, select who to send it to, enter an email message, and click Share.

Exporting Compensation Calculations

You can export reports in multiple formats: .xlsx, .pdf, and tax reports!
