💡Note: In doing so, you will also qualify for a lower cost estimate click cost from Workia, as Workia is no longer supplying data for your cost estimates.
Steps to enable Bring Your Own Data (BYOD):
First, contact AIRINC or Mercer and inform them that you would like to use your own data in Workia, so that they can prepare the data in Workia format.
Next, send a message to the Workia team in the Help Center to ask for it to be turned on. Once turned on, you’ll no longer have access to the standard AIRINC data pre-loaded by Workia.
AIRINC or Mercer will provide your data according to your data update schedule and will provide the data in either a .zip file or several Excel spreadsheets. There’s no need to prepare or modify these files—they can be uploaded as-is!
Finally, a Workia Admin will need to upload/drag and drop the files in the Cost Estimates Data Upload Page.
You can access this page by clicking on your Profile Icon > Settings > Imports > and select the Cost Estimate Data (BYOD) tab.
