Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection to your account while accessing Workia. π
With multi-factor enabled, you will be asked for an authentication code every time you log into Workia.
Setting up multi-factor authentication
Click on the User Icon on the upper right corner of the app. A dropdown menu will appear, and then select "My Profile" to open your User Settings.
βOn your User Settings, select the "Security" tab to open the user Security settings. Inside the Security tab, the setting to enable MFA appears. Click on "Enable"
You will see a QR code with an "Activation Passcode" input box.
π‘ An authenticator is an application that generates time-based one-time passwords for multi-factor authentication.
If enabled, logging-in to Workia will require you to input the timed code that is generated from the authenticator app in use.
Example authenticators are Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.
With your authenticator app, scan the QR code to register Workia. Once successful, you will see a timed OTP code appear on your authenticator.
Input the OTP code to the "Activation Passcode" input box to enable MFA on your account.
A green status box on the lower left corner of your app will appear once the MFA is successfully enabled.
Disabling multi-factor authentication
To disable your multi-factor authentication, click on the "Disable" button on the "Security" tab under your User Settings.
