The default case owner is the owner for cases that Collaborators and Stakeholder Initiators create.
To get started, click on Profile > Settings > Case Settings.
Assigning a Default Case Owner
On the upper right, you can choose the Default Case Owner.
💡Note: By default, the first Admin created in the site is always automatically assigned as the default case owner.
Automated Default Case Owners
Default case owners can be setup using the Automation function. These override the default owner set in the case settings.
To set up an Automation to set a default owner to newly created cases, click on your Profile > Settings > Automations.
Next, add a new automation and select Case Created. Setup your parameters, select Set Owner and choose a default case owner!
