These instructions are for Docusign corporate administrators. To setup Docusign in Workia, see this article.

  1. Access the DocuSign Developer Account
Navigate to https://account-d.docusign.com and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to Admin Settings
After logging in, click on the Admin tab. In the left-hand menu, scroll down to Integrations, then select Apps and Keys

  3. Create a New Application
Click on Add App and Integration Key to begin the process of creating a new application.

    • Start by providing a name for your application, then click Create App.

  4. Set Integration type
Select the option: β€œI’m a customer or an SI working for a customer, and my software vendor requires me to provide an Integration Key to use a Docusign feature within their software.”

  5. Promote the app to production

To promote the key to production, select Actions and select Select Go-Live Account. Select a production account and select Next. To promote the key to production, select Actions and select Select Go-Live Account.

    Accept terms and conditions.

Log in to your production DocuSign account using your production credentials (not your developer/demo credentials).
Only a DocuSign account administrator in production can complete the Go-Live process.

Select your production account and click Next.
If you are an administrator, the available paid production account will be displayed for selection.

  6. Generate an RSA Key
In the Service Integration section of the page, scroll down and click Generate RSA to create an RSA key pair.

    • Important: Ensure you save the private key, as this will be required later for the configuration in Workia. If you do not save it, you will need to generate a new key.

  7. Save the Application
Once the RSA key is generated, scroll down and click Save to finalize the creation of your application.

    • Note: The newly created application will initially be in a development environment.

  8. Setting up consent

To set up the consent you will first need to add a redirect uri. Edit the app and add a new redirect url

After that you will need to create a link with the format:

Your Workia team can help create this for you

https://account.docusign.com/oauth/auth?response_type=code&scope=signature%20impersonation&client_id= [integration key]&redirect_uri=[redirect uri] - redirect uri added to app details

When u have the link, someone with access to docusign needs to follow the link to get the consent.

To view the consent or revoke just follow the profile of the user

And then select Connected Apps. You will the the consent and can also revoke them

Workia Integration Configuration

To configure the integration in Workia, you will need the following details from the application you just created:

  • Integration Key

  • User ID

  • Account ID

  • RSA Private Key (generated earlier)

You can retrieve the Integration Key and User ID from the same page where you created the application. For the Account ID, return to the left-hand menu and locate it at the top of the page.
