Workia can manage Allowances on a case record. You can easily track, add, edit, collaborate, and attach documents of Allowance records to an employee's case record.

Accessing Allowances

Start by opening a case record in the People screen. Then navigate to the Compensation section on a case and select the "Allowance" tab.

Adding an Allowance Record

To add a new Allowance record, click on the "+" button to add new information.

You can also add Allowance types by selecting the Allowance Name field and clicking on "Manage Allowances", a window will appear asking you to provide the name of the allowance to be added. This allowance added will be available throughout all case records.

Once you have filled in the information, click on the "Save" button to record the new Allowance record information to the case.

Editing Allowance Records

On the Compensation section under the Allowance tab, select an allowance record to edit by clicking on the allowance record itself or by clicking on the three-dot icon.

Once you make the changes, click on the "Save" button to apply the modified details to the allowance record.

Adding Attachments or Documents to an Allowance Record

On an allowance record, there is an option to add or view attachments related to the record.

To add a document to an allowance record, click on the Document icon, and a sidebar with a file attachment will appear. You can click on the file uploaded to navigate through the files on your computer, or you can drag and drop the relevant documents associated with the record.

The documents uploaded in an allowance record will only appear in that record, you can also Download or Delete them if necessary by clicking on the three-dotted icon next to the document.

Commenting and Mentions in an Allowance Record

You can utilize the commenting feature on each allowance record by clicking the Comment icon. To keep track of the discussions relating to a specific case record.

You can mention a team member in comments to notify that member when they are tagged in a message. This will send a notification through the in-app notification and also through email.

You can also set the permissions on the comments posted by selecting if anyone can see the comment or only Mobility and Admin roles can view the comment.
